Seat-Based Pricing

A software pricing model that charges per named user (seat), typically layered on top of a flat platform fee, rather than charging per deal, per module, or as a single flat license regardless of team size.

Seat-based pricing scales cost with team size rather than usage, which makes it predictable for a growing team but means cost is tied to headcount rather than deal volume. It's distinct from per-license software sold as a single point tool, which is typically priced independent of how many people in a firm actually use it.
